Momma's out there...you think your little one's look cute in these outfits with the fur trim but don't ignore the fact that some creature suffered greatly for it!!! 

Millions of animals such as cats, dogs, fox and racoon are being brutally tortured (skinned alive, electrocuted, beaten) and killed for their fur. Please don't purchase anything that looks like fur. Labels on items most often read that that the material is"Faux Fur", but China has no law that enforces what real materials are being used. Over 90% of faux fur is REAL.

But you don't have to take my word for it. Just look at the over whelming evidence online including articles and video footage. 

Fur Farms

50 million animals are killed for fur worldwide every year. Approximately 74% of that fur comes from fur farms. China produces  85% of the  fur on the planet  and has  no animal welfare  laws to protect animals. 

In these fur farms, animals such as mink, rabbits, and even cats and dogs spend their entire lives confined to tiny, filthy cages, constantly pacing back and forth from stress and boredom. They exhibit stereotypical stress behaviour such as self-mutilation and cannibalism, demonstrating that intense confinement drives them insane.

Over two million dogs and cats are slaughtered  each year for their furs and skins, mostly in China and other Asian countries. Investigators  documented  50,000  to 100,000 cat pelts stockpiled at animal byproduct factories in China.  At least ten dogs are slaughtered to make a single coat, more if puppies are used.  Up to 24 cats  are slaughtered to make one fur coat.    Dog and cat fur is used in trims, linings, hats, decorative  figurines, and  folk  remedies.  Skins are  used in dog chew toys and shoe leather.

MANY UGG BOOTS HAVE REAL FUR INSIDE EVEN WHEN LABELED AS FAUX FUR OR SYNTHETIC! DON'T LET ANYONE FOOL YOU! THE LITTLE GUY ABOVE IS OFTEN SKINNED ALIVE TO MAKE UGGS! 

BEWARE the toys and trinkets you buy. These are examples of real fur items labeled as fake fur.

When undercover investigators made their way onto Chinese fur farms recently, they found that many animals are still alive and struggling desperately when workers flip them onto their backs or hang them up by their legs or tails to skin them. When workers on these farms begin to cut the skin and fur from an animal's leg, the free limbs kick and writhe. Workers stomp on the necks and heads of animals who struggle too hard to allow a clean cut. When the fur is finally peeled off over the animals' heads, their naked, bloody bodies are thrown onto a pile of those who have gone before them. Some are still alive, breathing in ragged gasps and blinking slowly. Some of the animals' hearts are still beating five to 10 minutes after they are skinned. One investigator recorded a skinned raccoon dog on the heap of carcasses who had enough strength to lift his bloodied head and stare into the camera.
